This song came from a short melodic idea that I had ben playing while working in Mexico on a Modelo brewery in Obregon. I would go back to the hotel that I was staying in and work on the arrangement until I was happy with it. As I recall, the lyrics were a bit more troublesome but germinated out of weekend trips to San Carlos on the Sea of Cortez. I think I must have been thinking of the young couples that would see on the beaches in the evenings while I watched the kite surfers sail across the bay near the Soggy Peso bar in the evenings.
