This song was inspired by the story of a good friend who nursed his wife through Alzheimer's disease before she passed away. In fact, a lot of the impetus for this album and the title track came from this gentleman and the ideas that he teaches on creativity, psychology and physics.

Verse 1
Am
I’ll miss her, Soft Whisper
G
In this bed where I sleep
Am
Cold winters, I’ll shiver
G
Her warmth has bled from the sheets
Her whisper, go figure
Sustained me all through this life
I’ll miss her Soft Whisper
In the slow waning light
Chorus
F C G
She slipped away like a mist on the hope of my prayer
F C G
Her parting sigh like a scent in a wisp of the air
C D
A piece of me was pulled along
Em C
The rest I’ve spilled out in this song
G D
Goodbye, farewell
Em
So long
F C
Goodbye, farewell

So long
Verse 2
Am
I’ve missed her, Soft Whisper

Her footsteps, I remember
G
Dancing, with great delight
I’d kiss her, Soft Whisper
If I could catch it in flight
This drifter, will miss her
In the slow waning light
Chorus
F C G
She slipped away like a mist on the hope of my prayer
F C G
Her parting sigh like a scent in a wisp of the air
