Most folks remember Michael Nesmith for his role in the iconic group The Monkees. Few knew him as a songwriter.

I wore out a couple of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band eight track tapes listening to this in my college days (as well as the other excellent cuts on the Uncle Charlie album.

We originally were going to include this on a covers album that I'm working on, but when Michael passed away this last December, we decided to move it up to this record.
